Serving God is such a joy. And yet there are still times when we look over the fence and see how green the pasture is on the other side. This is especially real when we are sick, have suffered financial reverse, have been passed over for a promotion, or have been hurt terribly. We wonder, “Why do the wicked prosper when I am having such a rough time.” It is easy to ask God, “Why?” It just doesn’t seem fair sometimes. We do our best to live clean, holy lives. Others seemed to be competing for an award for who can be the most wicked, and yet, they seem to be rewarded in life for their efforts. This lesson looks at a current news item and then explores this subject from a Biblical perspective.
